Myanmar freed 250 political detainees on October 12th afters years of military rule that ended in March of this year. At the moment, Myanmar is going through a political reformation which could lead the U.N. to lift sanctions in the country. Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, has one of the worst prisons systems in the world. These prisons have no rules of authority and are usually ran by whichever prison officer is on duty. With no money or medical aid, Myanmar has major issues to solve in their, "political reformation."
